Oaks Amusement Park

Oaks Park is 3.5 miles south of downtown Portland and one of the oldest amusement parks in the country. It opened in May 1905 and features thrill rides, family rides, and a roller skating rink.

There are also a number of family-friendly activities, including a pumpkin patch, hayrides, and corn mazes. You can also participate in a costume contest and visit the beer garden.

This year, Oaks Amusement Park partnered with ScareGrounds PDX to offer three haunted houses. They will be open on weekends and during the week leading up to Halloween. Gabriel Gonzales said he was excited about the event, which will include trick-or-treating for kids. You can get a treat bag at any midway game booth and then visit each of the three houses to collect treats. You can also use the treat bag to get free rides on the carousel, train, mini golf, and roller skating.
